The dress is composed of eight panels, each depicting the same wilderness scene with wildlife, men in armor on horses, an archer, and a goddess figure, in a gorgeous gold brocade. The panels are separated by brilliant borders decorated in shimmering rhinestones and gold glass beads. With its high collar, straight silhouette, and ankle length, the dress is reminiscent of the Chinese cheongsam or qipao. The dress features a slit at the center back.
